Hot take: I dont think Uzi should be allowed to edit his songs after the first set of recording sessions. I dont think he thinks clearly at all about his old music and just tries to do pointless s*** with good finished product. Like an artist whose made a great painting but sits on it for two years and comes back to add or adjust and the finished product ultimately does not live up to what the original could have been. Not saying this approach has never worked (the new Myron verse was cool and he worked on 20 Mins for a long time apparently) but really think he's fumbled the bag in that regard. Not forgiving him for Dolly anytime soon.

Also how we feeling about the "going back to my old sound" comment?

Personally think its just bs and trolling but hopefully he remembers why people used to love his songs (great melodies and beat selection) and focus more on that. Clearly he has proven himself as a bars rapper, and thats the best s*** he's put out recently, but plenty of great artists can do that, Uzi had a huge leg up in the melody game and making standout songs.

Prolly cause of the label issues he was having so he held out until he could fix his situation and then vaulted it. No reason he would have not dropped it since Pharrell is one of his idols and he is always open to collabs with them. Sitting on that Future joint too prolly until the Corona s*** over. Been a tumultuous couple of years for Uzi drops
