He has literal zero excuse. Especially when we're seeing nearly 50 year old Pusha and his brother put on the exhibition they did. I do think Wayne's issue is quality control and he could absolutely flourish in this era if he locked in the studio with one producer and put something cohesive together.
Wayne’s style even for his prime was more punch lines than being “cohesive”. Also, he was a rapper from teenage basically. Guys like Pusha T and that just had more pre-rap life experience to draw back on. I kind of feel like Wayne has exhausted like all of his life experience for music at this point other than just rapping about being a rapper.
You guys think Weezy hit?
It's been 15+ years and bro still can't play

And this the nigga yall was caping for all last year smh. Anyone with ears can tell wayne BEEN washed for YEARS. He only good doing guess verses on Tyler songs.

He can drop a verse like this but has no idea what good music sounds like anymore so he just drops slop

I hear him on something like that Benny the Butcher joint called Timeless and instantly know it's a production and focus problem. He needs to be put over soul samples and locked in a certain BPM range and we'll have a classic on our hands.
For example, look at how rejuvenated and "at home" 2 Chainz sounds on the joint album he did with Larry June & Alchemist. I don't think any of this is coincidence or luck.
