Last night, Lane's lawyer, Earl Gray, did an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo where he used a similar method of deflecting the blame from his client-- by casting the blame on those civilians who witnessed the whole murder unfold. Yes, Gray actually said: "If the public is there and they're so in an uproar about this, they didn't intercede either."
That motherfucker is dumb as a box of rocks
The woman recording u think she wanted to get shot or a knee on her neck? She had no way to predict if they would stop or how the situation would proceed
So it's just like people with no empathy to the actual situation saying s*** like this
"the public"
Like if you walk up to those cops something clicked in your head "I'm possibly about to die right now" or u got a divine courage fueling thru u lol
And yeah i mean two of those cops were new, and i'm wondering like...
They're looking at mans like "do we write this down? is this protocol?"
next thing u know they're the face of the Worldwide Pig magazine
They gotta clear up what shut down stem means bro
remember what happened with the black squares
hopefully though the people that'd be thinking about education STEM fields and everything would be able to read further and get what it is
The issue of cities giving so many hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars to police departments while their other social programs are underfunded is becoming clearer and clearer every day

I never understood the point of giving them that much money. It really shouldn't cost that much to support the police department in any city. MAYBE a place like LA or NYCN or Chicago, but even then that's a huge stretch

It's like we fund the military to go beat people and countries down abroad, then we over-fund the police with ridiculous gear to beat us down here
It's about domination and force because you know they don't have the intellectual or rhetorical advantage
The fact that this movement also can't afford to be male-dominated should be acknowledged
Men, esp. white men are used to having the confidence to speak up the fastest, and this can overshadow other voices who aren't used to that kind of privilege of confidence..
I've noticed this in univ. the past few years more and more, and u can see it in the protests too.
There have been a few women speaking on this point in the last few protests and im happy they did.
And sometimes its just like men or white ppl outnumber those voices that ought to be heard the loudest and it's difficult or awkward...
just think about it if u havent.
people can have good intentions and still f*** up
