bro look at history. Any successful protest came through peaceful protest. It may seem like peaceful protest "hasn't done s***", but peaceful protest takes time. It takes a LOT of time. And that's frustrating. But once protests become violent, they become sooo much easier to discredit.

this isn't true. Look at political dialogue. Look at the culture. Now, more than ever, police brutality is a legitimate issue that is discussed across the nation. What do we have to thank for that? Protests like Kaepernick's kneel and the many marches over the past decade have kept this issue in the public eye. Would this issue even be a talking point at all without these protests?
