CrimsonArkI mean, in a civilized society you can’t have everyone collectively staying completely out of each other’s business.
Total Individualism in a society is literally a detriment to it in a lot of cases.
You have to exact at least some degree of control, whether it be direct or indirect (with indirect being the best route generally).
I’m all for some control, but not to the extent where it affects people negatively. There has to be a line established. It’s difficult to have when people continue to move the goal post. But hey that’s the world we live in

Exactly. Some people may look at it as a crutch but I just learned I needed to hone in on my other skills/qualities and not blame my problems on something I can’t control. Couldn’t imagine being a person who is just gonna sit back and let society dictate how their life is going to go

Freedom is important, but control should be enacted (mostly in an indirect way as I said) to ensure people use it responsibly, for their benefit and the benefit of those around them.
