Perhaps expecting Reaves to guard Murray isn’t a great strategy for success
Darvin Ham said he felt like the Lakers weren't "shot-aggressive, shot-ready" on enough kick outs tonight

it isn't, point still stands though. both can and are true
"We'll know something further tonight," Darvin Ham said about the status of D'Angelo Russell and Max Christie

All this talk about the Nuggets in the summer and on Kobe’s statue night too

Like I try my hardest not to be overly negative in here after games and just be all "onto the next" but God damn man smh
Darvin Ham gave props to guys like Skylar Mays and Jaxson Hayes for their minutes but acknowledged that some of the other guys need to step up when keys players are out with injuries.
Darvin Ham gives the Lakers an “A+” tonight for their competitiveness and the way they played against Denver.

like lebron said, our record is that of a team that can win or lose on any given night. the inconsistency is whats frustating, can barely put together 3 game win streaks

oh brother
Austin Reaves just said that the Nuggets had ran the same play a couple times so he felt like he had the steal here. But it's something that he will learn from moving forward.
Jaxson Hayes said the Lakers had some "mental breakdowns" late and credited the Nuggets for capitalizing on their mistakes.
When asked if the end of tonight's game reminded him of the Western Conference Finals, Darvin Ham emphatically said that it's 2024 and he's not thinking about last year.
if we get denver in the first round, its curtains
We've lost to them the exact same way the past 6 games we've played them.
It always comes down to what we do at the end of the game when it's close.
They know what they're doing on offense and make you pay for any mistakes. We basically have to play perfect defense and we don't have the guys for that.
Even if we had Vando, Cam, Christie, we would prob still lose this game because our offense is unorganized.
Our offense in close games is basically Lebron iso or Reaves trying to make something happen. Not sustainable.
Not enough offense sets and not enough ways to give AD the ball.
