You would think after a week off this team would figure something out but nope
JJ Redick says the Lakers "just couldn't keep the ball in front of us" defensively in the second half.
JJ Redick: "Wemby being on the court, you have to kind of decide how you want to play coverage...The point of attack just wasn't good tonight. It feels like there's no one in the paint for us."
JJ Redick on the Lakers defense: "We've had for three games now real slippage defensively."
Anthony Davis says he plans to meet personally with first responders and arrange for Lakers tickets for them as a small token of thanks for their service.
DFS added that it was nice to get some time on the practice court with the team and that the "coaches gave us all the answers to the test" and they just didn't execute.
Dorian Finney-Smith mentioned that the Spurs adjusted to their switching and started attacking the basket in the second half.
Apparently DFS's wife was pregnant and they are now celebrating the birth of their new baby, which is why he's doubtful.
Congrats to them.
As part of the NBA's schedule adjustments, the Lakers' postponed home game against Charlotte originally scheduled for Jan. 9 has been rescheduled for Feb. 19.
Also, LAL's home game against Utah scheduled for Feb. 11 has been moved up to Feb. 10.
