Jarred Vanderbilt appreciates everyone being patient with his rehab process:
"It means everything. It's been a long journey, a tough journey. It's almost been a full calendar year since I was able to play the game again. So yeah, just taking everything, embracing it, the moment, and just being thankful. Thankful for the moment, thankful for everybody that was a part of it. My rehab process and, you know, the organization, everybody, just being patient. So yeah, it's a big step in the right direction and I'm excited. It's been a hell of a journey."
Something tells me Rob is gonna end up getting us a big
JHS and 2 protected firsts for Walker Kessler #soon
I like this because the only way we could get someone like Vuc or Poetl is by including Rui or someone else with salary to match
Id prefer to keep the core group together and see what we can get for JHS plus a pick or two. This way we dont deplete any depth in the search for another piece. Plugging holes while creating other holes is not ideal

looking around the league, seems like its down to valanciunas and rob williams? maybe capela?

The dream scenario is still Walker Kessler because only JHS + draft picks would need to be included. I understand Utah acting like they not gonna trade him but for the right amount of picks or protections removed could potentially sway them up until the deadline
If we trade for Williams or Jonas we would likely need to include Gabe in the deal. Not saying Gabe is untouchable in the slightest but if we traded him are we comfortable running Shake as the full time back up? Im not a fan of that lmao
Reaves / Gabe
Max / Knecht
DFS / Vanderbilt
Bron / Rui
AD / Kessler
Depth + fit here is ideal plus have tons of flexibility with interchanging lineups plus AD & Kessler can play alongside each other at times
If Rob can pull this off i will take back any bad thing ive ever said about him

i hope im wrong but i dont think theyre getting kessler at this point

You’re probably right based on reports that are coming out but im a believer that everyone is available for the right price
If we remove the protections from the pick Utah already owns (that we traded to offload Westbrook) plus another 2 unprotected firsts id be shocked if that wasn’t enough for them to at least entertain the idea. Utah likely just waiting to see what the best offer they can get up til the deadline
JJ’s rotations pissing me off ngl
I understand Rui & Gabe are out but ffs man figure this s*** out
JJ Redick said he thought mental errors, not effort, were the issues tonight. Called it “brain fog.”
