I don't think it's been discussed enough how the Luka trade also changes the outlook of JJ Redick's tenure
I was always against the hire because of his lack of experience coupled with the need to win immediately both being a Laker and being on LeBron and AD's timeline
We aren't on LeBron's timeline anymore, everything is centered around Luka and I think that gives JJ a bit more grace since the trajectory of the franchise's future did a complete 180 at the snap of a finger
Gotta double back on this, we got building blocks for JJ once LeBron is gone man. Can't help but love these moves for the future AND the now

Not sold on DFS being the only positive defender in the starting lineup, especially given how much D we lost losing AD
Vandos lack of consistent shooting/spacing makes him a better fit on the bench for me. DFS may be not as good of a defender but his catch and shoot ability is a perfect fit with the starters imo
Plus having energy glue guys off the bench is never a bad thing and JJ can get creative with staggering lineups to ensure we always have one of Bron/Luka/AR and DFS/Vando on the court. Death lineups can have all 5 together
