JJ Redick says Luka Doncic was "fantastic" tonight and credited his spirit and "inner demon" for setting the tone for the team.
JJ Redick on Dalton Knecht: "There was a lot of discussion early on...We've moved on from that."
Gabe Vincent on Dalton Knecht: "It's been small things with Dalton where he's been improving on a lot."
Gabe Vincent on the Lakers winning consistently for several weeks now: “We’re playing very hard. We’re playing unselfish. I think guys are starting to understand the assignment.”
Lakers are officially the 2nd seed
Gabe Vincent on Luka getting hot: "We feed off of it. You got a guy in your corner that's going supersane, for the lack of a better word. ... It's a lot of fun. It can give us a lot of life. ... When he gets hot offensively, we feel like we can't be stopped in that regard."
Gabe Vincent on Dalton Knecht: "It's great to see him get hot and get him out there in rhythm shooting from the three like we know he can. It's great to see him have some growth, it's great to see him rewarded with a good offensively game amidst the growth."
Pepperidge Farm remembers
Luka Doncic said he got kneed in his right knee, causing him to briefly leave the game tonight. It was sore from repeated collisions. "Third straight game, the same spot," he said. "So, I was kind of struggling on that right leg. But I’m good."
Lakers held their opponent to 102 or fewer points for 7 straight games.
They have a league-best defensive rating of 103.5 during this seven-game stretch.
I still can't believe that Luka, the kid dominating Euroleague aged 19 at the expense of my favorite team and a European Basketball Championship winner is a Laker
What a time to be alive
I will say, I don't like how folks are going to frame the narrative that our defense got better after AD
The real answer is that our defense got better after we sent Russell back to Brooklyn for DFS lol. Vando came back around that time so we had actual wings to throw at defenders, along with just having size in general for the perimeter

That trade was amazing. DLO was not a winning player. Horrible defender, worked best with ball in his hands. Reaves was flat out better. Added a wing who could defender either forward spot and space the floor.

Exactly. I think our defense and team would be playing good ball without AD. We were wing more before the AD trade. Obviously AD would have to stay healthy, and Luka is better
Lebron's face at the end was hilarious
Yeah Dalton back
