His biggest talent is his godly passing, driving and kicking out to wide open shooters because he demands so much from opposing defense. He’s literally always been a PG in a 6’8 250 body. He’s most knowing for having an offense run through HIM as the primary ball handler. I mean if you’ve literally watched ANY game he’s played you’ll see that. Feels ridiculous even having to type that explanation. No one on any team he’s been on has a better passing iq or ball iq than him. Why you think the second he f***ing sits on the bench for 5 minutes the offense goes to s***, all fluidity is gone and guys look like chicken with their heads cut off out there and leads get blown or runs on opposing teams are made. Sure LeBron did it LESS in his second stint with Cleveland and Miami because he had Kyrie run the offense and it allowed him to play more off ball and be more of an off ball threat because opposing teams would worry about Kyrie scoring and Kyrie drawing a double team when LeBron could easily cut to the basket. However the ONLY time LeBron plays off ball this season is when Vogel continuously puts him on the floor with Rondo as the primary ball handler. And it never f***ing works because opposing defenses don’t respect Rondo offensively. And it’s not only that they don’t respect him offensively, he can’t f***ing shoot. Rondo is a one trick pony where his only takeaway is his passing whereas Kyrie was a threat offensively letting Bron play more free offball. Rondo is also a defensive liability, opposing teams abuse him because they know they can get anything they want when he’s on the floor

You bring up LeBron bricking 3s like he didn’t just make 5 in a row two games ago against the Spurs lol. But okay let’s talk numbers. Aside from the irrelevant Dwight, Javale and Dudley 50% from 3, The Lakers TOP three 3 point percentages this season so far are 39%, 37%, and 34%. Lebron is the one shooting 34%. Higher than Kuzma shooting 33%. But yeah sure let’s talk about LeBron’s offense. The outlier here being LeBron’s best offensive season arguably ever in 2017-2018 when he was getting ANYTHING he wanted on offense. He was at his offensive peak. Though it was considered his peak offensively he wasn’t even shooting his best percentage from 3, he shot 40% in 2012-2013 and 36% in 2017-2018. Shooting percentages aside, It’s almost like people fail to realize he’s 35 now... like uhh... maybe he isn’t driving to the rim as much as he used to to preserve his body for the playoffs? In game load management? It’s sad LeBron gets criticism for something like this when a 28 year old Kawhi can just sit games whenever he wants. Oh but god forbid 35 year old LeBron is driving less and being less aggressive in the regular season. Not only that but even in times when he does drive, this season he’s averaging a career LOWEST free throw attempts at 5 FTA with a career 8 FTA, meaning he isn’t even getting as many calls as he used to. He’s not even getting as many as last season when he was averaging 7 FTA. And it’s not like he’s shown he literally can’t anymore it’s just harder against teams with big wings since that’s what we lack to make it easier. It’s a pain when he IS driving and he’s passing it to a wide open Kuzma or a wide open Danny Green and they’re bricking literally wide open looks. All this to say also doesn’t make things easier on drives when the paint is clogged with Javale and Dwight since AD is reluctant to play the 5 until closing or for a couple minutes each night.
