season's essentially over
jj will get better, needs to. ex: waiting until now to play adou when you couldve weaved him in and out of games vs. terrible teams all season to get him some extended in-game reps instead of strickly garbage minutes and then throwing him extended minutes in the f***ing playoffs of all times?
ayton needs to go, pray he declines his player option
lebron should only be resigned at a discount, non-tax MLE level (~14 mill) or a little higher. otherwise, rob can likely find at least two impact players for the price of an overpaid bron (this team badly needs depth)
luka's back
resign reaves at 35 mill tops; look to move in the near future for a fellow star that defends
definitely resign smart and rui
only resign hayes if he's our third big, if we're deadass about trying to win a f***ing chip
laravia is coming back; he had an off year shooting and lost confidence. im betting he bounces back. you cant teach his motor and hustle. he's young, cheap contract, another offseason, hope he improves.
bumass vando is coming back, it would require a pick to move him or taking on bad salary, but depending on who it could work? 70/30 vando stays
dalton will likely be added in the whatever trade we'll definitely make in the offseason. bye nigga nice knowing you
kennard can go, fun lil first round playoff story, but his skillset is redundant and gets targeted easily too. you don't want a playoff backcourt defensive rotation of luka, reaves, kennard vs. the thunder, spurs, or even the wolves.
adou and bronny will be back and nick smith jr and kleber will be gone.

It's over for him

Promise you it's not
Ayton, Vando, James, James Jr, Kleber, LaRavia, Knecht, and Pelinka all need to hit the road next season
I hope it is
Let's not act like he isn't a legit rotation player when he's hitting his shot which he was early in the season. If he's your 10th~ best player which he should be if Rob does his job, then that's a deep enough roster.

If he's paid like that I'll keep em but I'm all for losing everyone except Bron, Luka, Jaxson, Smart, Adou, and Rui
Package whomever else
I'm rewatching the game and it's crazy the amount of times Ajay Mitchell just blew past Austin.
It was an automatic layup every time he got in the paint

He's making 6 mill
Random but was thinking about how crazy it is that Bron has had four different head coaches as a Lakers. No stable foundation nor culture built
Ayton, Vando, James, James Jr, Kleber, LaRavia, Knecht, and Pelinka all need to hit the road next season
But are you paying AR big money?
Reaves and Ayton are getting slandered alot right now
Let's see how they respond
Reaves gotta get in the weight room and add like 10-15 lbs
He gone anyways
i don't about that
He has a player option and I think he'll opt in
I don't know if Rob will actually trade him in the offseason if he opts in since overall he's provided good value relative to his contract.
Rob has never really prioritize the center position anyways and the one time he did was just to try to make Luka happy (then he rescinded it).
The ideal scenario if Ayton opts in would be to sign Robinson (15 million) and have him as the backup.
But that could mean no Rui or Smart depending on if Bron comes back.
