Some solid defense in that first half. Lakers recovered well after switching on the Murray/Jokic PnR and face guarded Jokic to prevent entry passes when they were mismatched.

Favorite moment was the end of the third when Bron guarded Murray to prevent a mismatch incase Jokic screened and Bron would need to switch onto Jokic. Murray opted for taking Bron 1-on-1 and missed a jumpshot.

Obviously Vogel doesn't want Bron chasing Murray all game, but it's such a solid strategy when you need stops at critical moments. Especially since the Nuggets hunt for mismatches almost every possession lol

Howard has been amazing these two games and should play more minutes than McGee every game.

During the 2nd quarters of both Game 1 & 2, Lakers went on an 8-1 run and a 14-4 run respectively once Howard took the court.

Yeah. He needs to be in the 18-20 minute mark with minutes this series, and I know the counter argument is that he fouls, but I'd rather he foul himself out playing those minutes, then not reaching those minutes because of fear of fouling out.

If Denver are going to pick up a win, I would assume it would be one of these next two games, but something about this series is telling me sweep.

They made adjustments that troubled us, and we played a pretty poor game that we deserved to lose and AD bailed us out. I'd say that everything that HAD to happen for Denver to win a game happened yesterday and we still took the W... judging by how good our adjustments have been these offs I assume we make a few tweaks and play a much better game over 4 quarters this time.

Denver is obviously a good team that can def put themselves in a situation to win any of these games but I don’t see LeBron having another disastrous second half that essentially let Denver get back in the game

I trust Frank & the guys to make the right counter adjustments and they are well aware that Denver is a team that likes to claw back into games

Yeah exactly. We stopped playing with the correct intensity pretty much as soon as we got those two technical fouls... didn't really pick up til end of the game. I don't see that happening again. I also don't see the refs being so soft again as well.

Nuggets kept it close in the 2nd half because they held us back from the two things we like to do the most on offense, allowing only 10 paint points and 2 fastbreak points for the entire 2nd half. We must get back to doing our damage from the inside out, as well as taking better advantage of our stops in order to get our in transition more frequently.

All that, and also throw THT some minutes to really solidify a strong lead.

While I love Dwight's intensity, he needs to done it down a bit, same with the bench. Unnecessary fouls & techs helped keep them in the game.
