Then called him "Poope Fiasco". Lupe has been harboring hate for Cudi for almost ten years, dissing him at least twice a year since. While Cudi has not acknowledged him at all.
Flash forward to present day, In a Zane Lowe interview, Cudi recounts a story about Lupe shopping around in the Bape store he used to worked at in 2008 before he was famous because he jokingly didn't want that to be used against him if ever he were to be in a beef with a rapper. This is the first time Cudi has mentioned Lupe since 2015.

The reason everything happened today is because of what happened 10 years ago. Lupe wouldn’t have cared about Cudi’s comments from that interview otherwise. He’s literally just been waiting for Cudi to apologize for acting like a b**** to him 10 years ago after all the support Lupe gave him, which Cudi has refused to do up until today. Then when he did, it was a backhanded “sorry you were offended” bs
All that being said, I personally would’ve moved on by now if I were Lupe, and I think all this s*** on twitter is immature, but I don’t think it’s weird that he’s upset with cudi
