body heavy, mind all bent, feeling cold now
strange how little things can send you down that road now

Idk maybe I gotta go back to his more popular albums but none of them have immediately appealed to me like this one. A simple record done right. Voice, instrumentation, lyrics all on point. Sounds like it came out a time machine.
Not bad for what it is but it does bum me out that we'll probably never get anything like 2 or Salad Days from him again. Seems like he's not interested in making that kind of music anymore (which is totally fine, given how he's clearly happier in the niche he's made for himself).
Haven't finished the album yet tbh. Kinda forgettable tho, a lil boring. Nothing really caught me
had this on repeat all day yesterday
y'all can keep the upbeat sophmoric house party Mac music, I prefer this slowed down wistful sound he's going for on this album

right I feel like he pulled it off so well here. and his songwriting & voice is as good as ever. considering everybody and their mom took his jangly guitar tone & style the last decade it wouldn't even sound right retreading back to his old style
this s*** is nice.
getting in his plastic ono band bag a little at some points it feels like which im not mad about
very mellow, soft, quiet.
But nice melodies and a handful of really engaging songs. nothing bad on here

Maybe the saddest song of that year
Bro really a one album wonder
Nah he was one of the only artists good enough to keep me from listening to rap music as stereotypical as that sounds. Every single thing he dropped up until Here Comes the Cowboy was nuts
Even Some Other Ones was smacking
