I believe that if they were friends again, with how much Kanye has wanted that, Kanye would have rapped about it or hinted at them resolving their issues somehow on Donda. To double down on that not happening, he sent some shots on the first version of the album he previewed, took two weeks off and came back and had even more bars sending shots at Drake. How anyone can take that and translate it in any way as them being friends, is beyond me. If that isn't enough, look at the energy people from Kanye's camp have had for Drake since Kanye announced the release of Donda.
On Drake's side, the last time he had anything to say regarding Kanye was on Laugh Now Cry Later, which had him sending shots at him.
Nothing they've done has even hinted at them being cool with each other. I'm just using common sense here. Maybe some people who believe they're friends are seeing things I'm not.

I feel you 100% i just think it's weird for Mal to come out and say that. Especially with the energy we are getting from Ye's side like you said. You never know with Drake though lol he'll always reconcile with Kanye unfortunately
