yeah don’t wanna ruin this for you but i think the reason behind this is pretty clear as they’re the only ones who stayed in the prem, that kinda explains it all.
honestly think if garnacho went to naples he would be doing more than well too. and on the other hand if hojlund & antony stayed in the prem you probably wouldn’t have heard of them yet this season besides some banter, they simply weren’t cut for the league. and while i don’t think sancho has another revival in him anymore even his lazy ass had this fake second prime not too long ago during the dortmund loan when they got into that CL final.

When Sancho went back to Dortmund he was better than he was here, but he didn’t light it up the way McTominay and Hojlund are doing at Napoli, or Antony did at Betis last season.

yeah i totally agree. especially mctominay’s rise is still a crazy sight to me, i mean like he had that dawg in him offensively but i would never think he would be a serie a mvp and ballon d’or nominee in his first season while carrying napoli to the title. mad respect

Very impressed with De Ligt this season, if he can keep this up he can be our starting CB for at least another 5 to 7 years. Honestly feel like he was a steal. Hopefully Yoro can keep developing as well and we have a solid centreback pair for the future.

Maguire is good for these games when we play close to our own goal, excellent marker and header and has good leadership qualities, but as we have seen earlier in the season he is still incredibly vulnerable when he has space in his back and when there are people running at him.

Ya agreed De ligt way better for most games. We need a LWB like Davies or someone and we could push for top 6.

Also ignoring Rashford having what was an unbeatable PSG team (at the time) on the ropes last season and scoring a brace against Newcastle.
