I love all my movie spideys but like @kiddash3r said this sounds like a 90s TAS episode and I’ve always had more love for the cartoons than anything else

I feel you. I came from the animated cartoon too. Like in the first movie when he talked to his Suit A.I, people were complaining it’s too iron man

But I loved it because in the cartoon (and the comics obv) he ALWAYS talks to himself.

Also it can be Spidey verse and still feel like the cartoon

I remember Feige saying he was excited to show the conversation between Peter and May about him being Spidey and all the guilt about Ben, but we never got that in FFH, it was sidelined hardcore by the Infinity War and Tony’s death. We still might get it sure, it would make for a great cold open in NWH, but I still feel a lil played

This was by far my favorite team up in the series. You’re right he was so well written in those eps

Spectacular is goated for all the right reasons but they took a lot of inspiration from the serious moments of this series for sure.
