First sign of it was Vulture popping up in the Morbius trailer

But the mysterio reveal not even gonna be canon after no way home

One thing to note that I think nobody is considering

Sony has a Pay 2 output deal with Disney+ and Hulu for their films up to 2026

The SSU is coming to Disney+

It would be dumb for Sony to pull out of the MCU while that output deal is in place

I’m saying what’s point of him seeing mysterio reveal if the reveal will be reverse with dr strange no way home . Unless it’s hinting that at end of no way home everyone will still know

My biggest fear was that the Carnage story wouldn't be dark enough and won't be flushed out enough

The plot leaks prove that to be true - especially the ending...which is incredibly disappointing

Now onto Venom in the MCU, the most clear-cut thing is that the post-credits are happening the moment Strange opens up the multi-verse. With that said, is the reason why the NWH trailer showed only 5 villains is because the 6th is Venom? I think that's overkill but it makes sense.

In terms of a motive for Venom to become an enemy of Spider-Man, I can see it playing out like this: Venom in the post-credits says that Spider-Man looks "tasty." Venom and Spider-Man face off and Venom leaves Eddie to be with Peter - that whole arc plays out and Eddie becomes more comic-book origin accurate where he is jealous of Peter and out to take his loved ones/his reputation away from him like Peter took Venom away from him. Peter then rejects Venom down the line and now both Venom and Eddie hate Peter.

Venom and eddie having no personal connection to Peter just ruins it, curious how they salvage that
