I get that but think about how insane it is to say it took 5 movies for us to their universes green goblin or norman even . WHEN IN SPIDER MAN NORMAN TECH IS CENTRAL. not Stark Tech. I am not even saying they had to have him be Goblin instantly I get avoiding that for first few movies but at this point its genuinely ridiculous. Same as the games. Setting it up for when their Goblin does show up it disappoints. Especially with Dafoe coming back which I was against especially in having someone elses villain kill his aunt may. again a writing mistake to me

But I think Norman could be closer to Iron Patriot era where he was just a rich a****** that's a little crazy and not full on Goblin

Insane missed opportunities to just say "ahhh we will use multidimensions to bring the old villains" not even show the raimi verse side of spider man universe or garfield universes in any form. Have that aunt may and MJ available not use them. Its all just baffling its part of why No way Home felt so cheap of nostalgia baiting

Yeah end of the day when it comes to all writing I dont know what roadblocks they hit with sony behind the scenes. All parties are accountable. Morbius, Chameleon and Kraven being used the way they did is reprehensible. Carnage I dont really care because I think serial killer too dark for MCU. Venom saw its own success with that trilogy

I’m not saying Goblin will be in this, but that there’s a conceptual tie between Punisher and Hulk in relation to Spider-Man and what this movie seems to be suggesting is going on behind the scenes that makes sense, it isn’t just “Eh, let’s throw Hulk and Punisher in the mix”.

And sure, it sounds like a lot on paper, but it’s not gonna be Spider-Man 3, for one everyone knows the deal with Punisher and the Hulk, even if this was their first appearance in a movie ever you wouldn’t need to dedicate much of anything to them backstory wise, people kind of inherently know at this point, like Spider-Man himself.

Honestly, considering we know they won’t have origin stories or anything like that, you can probably just look at them as members of a supporting cast like you would in any other movie.

It’s not like the cast list is as extensive as the Odyssey for instance.

I wasnt saying goblin would be in this or I would want him to either. I already said I understand why hulk punisher daredevil could or would be in this again I saw the show for 30 years . The show is why I care about heroes at all.
