tv is just an entirely different audience and most of it is siloed to one platform. considering most of it isn't the best, i think people tapped out though some i know watched. i genuinely have little interest in watching the shows id rather just read a comic book respectfully.

Its a genuinely good reason for people to not trust mutants in general. But in some ways too good of a reason because why should anyone trust mutants after how far Jean took it. She was such a villain that essentially what villain is putting humans more at harm than freezing an entire population in place like that?

The world building in these movies is utter dogshit. If the world building of specifically spider man new york was better I could forgive them for all the time spent on MCU world building but its really not. It doesnt feel like that much of a living breathing world. Every single human that he interacts with feels like a npc from the games.

And he thinks all the punisher, hulk, mj, Ned stuff was a waste of time and should’ve just been Spider man chasing Jean.

That’s not how movies work. It’s not suppose to be plot plot plot only. Yeah the external plot is spider man tryna stop Jean. But he has internal issues as well such as his body changing and missing his friends who don’t remember him. You need all of those things so the character is fleshed out more and the story.

With Mystique using it to this degree or those sided with the brotherhood. In this the x men will be widely known as being able to take over others bodies likely unless the government and dodc tries to do a cover up

They arent given as much to work with as they should have 4 movies in is a fair statement. When they dont have true development or any character arc at all really. Not a curse or ruining anything but part of why Raimi movies are so loved is because the characters do have a life outside of spider man and peter. The parts that do draw them to spider man and peter are logical better written

That montage was great showing him taking down certain villains and using straight from comic panel scenes. They weren’t needed for anything else lol.
