She was doing that in retaliation for kidnapping and later killing her sister tbf

I think it kinda works for the government to be like experimenting/torturing/killing mutants just to turn around and brand them as the danger, very apt for certain things in the world rn

Idk man. Seeing two little ass girls running into my f***ing mind for s***s and giggles already made me want to yell "mutie" with Spiderman

Insane woman Grace Randolph kinda had a point about how the MCU has kicked off X Men in a weird way

Part of the intrinsic themes of the X Men is that they’re persecuted for immutable, innate abilities they’re born with. There are bad ones and more radical ones, but the persecution they get has to feel undeserving, unwarranted and bigoted even! Yet they’ve begun the arc with Jean giving the DOD, the police and the civilian population genuine reason to want them under control, surveilled or even inhibited and it kinda sets it off wrong from the jump or just weighs the anti mutant side with too much ammo from the very start

I’ve been saying this especially cause they could have executed the same plot better

We about to get into the “model mutant” argument.

  • Wonder if they’re gonna go with X-Men: Subtitle or just X-Men?

If they go the subtitle route, I could see something like X-Men: Registration, double meaning.
