“For some reason”? There are so many reasons to hate that game. It’s no mystery. Graphics are good, traversal is good, combat is solid. Everything else is liquid s***

"Everything else" = some subpar side quests, a messy story? Gameplay might legit be 10/10, so I can overlook some of its flaws. I'm certainly not gonna act like the whole game is mid/bad

Almost all the side content is mediocre to bad. The story is horrendous and outright not enjoyable. The best parts of the game involve traversal and combat but it seems like the game wants to stop you from doing that as much as possible in favor of forcing you to do pointless walking sections

Also, the gameplay definitely isn’t 10/10. I’d say 8/10. It’s pretty good but not quite perfect. It’s surely not enough to suffer through the rest of the awful game

What would you do to improve the gameplay? Spiderman 1 was like an 8/10 in terms of gameplay, but they increased the difficulty, improved the boss fights, traversal is way better in 2. I deadass have no notes

When I say 10/10, I'm referring to the Spiderman sections ie traversal and combat. I get that it breaks the flow and you'd rather just be doing more of that but Insomniac have to add s*** like the bike ride mission, MJ missions (I did think the one towards the end when they're fighting Venom was stupid though) to give players something else to do or people are going to say the games are repetitive
