this is the definition of a flawless Metroid game. The fact that I had this game in the backlog for so long is a crime against humanity. This has some of the best gameplay of the series, as well as the best level design. It was a great length and was action packed the whole way through. This has to be my second favorite of the 2D outings, with Super Metroid still being #1. Overall, I highly recommend this to any Switch user, as this is one of the best games on the console.

Only issue is how bad it runs

This is probably in my top 3 Switch games and I didn't even play any Metroid before the Switch. Caught up with Super Metroid and Fusion after that. Goated series

It does have very rare drops in some specific areas, but this is new to me. I wonder if its your switch's problem? Or if you have it digital, maybe its an issue with your microsd? Other than that idk, its unfortunate you had this experience cause i swear this game is silky smooth, and especially on handheld its amazing to play

Have you played prime remastered? Thats a masterpiece imo, the switch remaster is incredible

Makes getting more health feel pointless
