This ting is mad cool bruv.
This being wasted on U2 is a national tragedy
*Present day U2
The band that put this s*** on would be peak live music in the Sphere

A shame they're nowhere near that performance level anymore
This still looks cool tho

Hey bro! I mean this respectfully as hell, I think you are incorrect!
I hated on U2 for 20 years & f***ing despised Bono, until I discovered their 1991 album industrial rock album Achtung Baby! It inspired everyone from Radiohead to Nine Inch Nails, and is an incredible piece of work.
Just a bit of background, U2 got known to be PRETENTIOUS ASF in the late 80s, after the Joshua Tree cowboy hats & s***, then they dropped a double w/ BB King that was roots rock & it got s***ted on, snd U2 was getting written off.
Bono & the Edge knew they had to change their sound, and then 4 years later, they dropped Achtung Baby. It was the complete opposite of anything they had done prior & the sound is absolutely amazing. Bono transformed into this cool character called “the fly” which was basically Big Brother. It is their only classic album in my mind, personally.
And this Sphere tour has them playing Achtung in its entirety, which is astounding. They have always been known to raise the bar with live shows, and even inspired Kanye with Graduation after their tour.
Just wanted to say my piece, sir, have a nice night

Ain’t this what Gambino did in 2016 and Ye was trying to recreate at Coachella?
I dont know if anyone’s trying to recreate anything. This is basically just an Imax theater designed exclusively for music concerts, with 160,000 speakers inside the theater & a dome like IMAX for visuals. U2 is just breaking it in

I was talking about Ye recreating Gambino’s dome/sphere stage he had at Joshua Tree in 2016 which was pretty much like a planetarium

imagine disrespecting U2 like they’re not a legacy act
Need to watch the final fight of EndGame in there
Imagine a peak Ye MBDTF era show inside there, I would literally not be able to top that experience ever if I saw it
Would be mind blowing
Reminds me of Soarin’ California / The World at Disney
Just all screen in front of you.
Super cool
