I love this project but I agree I hope this the last one and Nas locks in with someone else or tries another standard multi-producer rap album

I’m just great full at this point. Especially considering how Hov hasn’t put out anything this decade (aside from AWT) and Ye has been becoming harder and harder to like.

Think some people are being a bit harsh on this one but with that said I don’t really care for the project either. This is the first project from them where it genuinely felt like leftovers. Nothing awful but no real take always either. Hit boy Didn’t deliver on the production either honestly. A real step back from magic and kd3

I notice with this album that HB is using tons of drums that he’s never used before, and most of them are more “small” or “thin” sounding then he usually does

It’s not a bad thing always but I usually prefer the more big drum sounds

For example that snare on the second verse of Bokeem Woodbine or the reverse snare on Black Magic are totally new for him and they both work great. On the other hand the breakbeats on Motion just sound flat to me
