they both use batteries
only 1 can be switched out instantly with batteries that everyone has (and still be charged if you have rechargeable batteries)
oh, you dont have 4 rechargeable batteries that you can switch out as needed then charge the other ones? you mean you're stuck to like 2 ft from ur console if u run out of charge? thats wild

The rechargeable internal battery in the controllers are way more efficient and reliable than any random AA battery you take from your TV remote and put into your controller. I’ve never had a PS3 or PS4 internal battery die on me
