After the Gold Rush was a good album. I don’t think I posted my thoughts last night bc I went to bed but I really enjoyed that. Looking forward to spinning some more Neil when I’m off work. Gonna keep working through the 70s albums.

That’s the plan
And I knew NY was popular but damn people really showed out. I think you being op contributes to that though, bc people trust your opinion on music.

@Womanpuncher69 @grimes where the radiohead stans
damn i’ve never really listened to neil young. i might finally get around to it now that i see radiohead and billy corgan were big fans (as disgustingly casual as that sounds)
wheres the best place to start, first album?

once you’ll dig on neil you’ll realize how similar thom vocals are to neil!

Will peep it once I get off work. But yeah fam I was looking for something to listen to when this thread popped up and I’d always been interested in checking some of his stuff out, discog is a little intimidating though lol. But I’m glad I did, the four albums I listened to were great, really enjoyed Rust Never Sleeps the most so far I’d say.

goat timing
plus of all dust stuff that you prolly havent tried if ny is one of them then yeah it’s a must!
yeah his discography is overwhelming just take it easy you’ve already done enough and there’s some dry material you def can skip
but he always has other stuff around, like you got into his solo albums and the ones he did with crazy horse which kinda goes together but he also has buffalo springfield (i was gonna say seinfeld) and crosby still and nash, classics!
that’s fair rust is a classic for anyone tbh, and it’s a live album! that’s how you know how goat he is, he’s like that

There are a ton of dusty artists and bands that i know plenty of songs from, but just never took time to really dig into their discogs, so I’m glad to start digging in.

There’s actually a decent amount of Sabbath fans on here, pretty cool
But that’s a good question. Outside of bands like Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, etc, I’d say a big chunk of artists/bands from 60s/70s, I know like a bunch of songs but just never really dug into albums.
i'll be honest i never really listen to neil young. i havent done a deep dive of his discography. not yet anyway.. .. .
