Called the ending towards the last few scenes, made too much sense

I generally like the show but it just doesn't have the cliffhangers to keep me invested episode to episode

Just finished episode 9 (dont read if you haven’t seen this episode yet)
They created Ben out of thin air, tried to make us feel for him just to off him. This writing is so weak and cheap, I was actually laughing. It’s annoying when shows do that. It’s a clear sign the writers have run out of steam. Also Marty’s flashbacks as a kid were a waste of time. All those scenes for what? An arcade? Flashbacks are another crunch writers use when they need to fill time. This could’ve been a strong 6 or 8 episodes season. The beginning was slow but the middle was honestly amazing.
Watching episode 10 now. Fingers crossed the end isnt as tragic as last season’s. It’s weird how the mob wasnt a big part of the season. That was the entire setup.

Last episode keeps me interested for next season

But I absolutely hated the Ben character and how long it took.

    Just painful and pointless

Ben’s issues were spoken about briefly in season 1 between Marty and Wendy, so not exactly out of thin air. And the arcade game was reinforcing the fact that Marty “wants to win” like Navarro, from a very young age. It’s built into his character.

Tryna go to sleep but the endings make u wanna watch the next episode so bad smh lol

  • Apr 3, 2020

I tried to binge season 2 right after watching season 1 initially and got distracted at the time.

    Finally watching the whole thing
and just finished episode 7. God damn the tension this show builds and the turns it takes are so well done. One of the few shows where I have no idea what’s around the corner.

Hear season 3 is amazing, so I can’t wait.

The problem for me was I should have watched season 1 and 2 again. Ozark is just too good and complex. You need to notice the little things and need to remember them.
