All they had to do is have Jonah shoot Wendy at the end
god knows she deserve it
the show begins with marty being cucked. him watching a video of wendy sleeping with another man. and then he has zero character development for 4 seasons then the show ends. OK.
I guess the writers thought Marty being forced into working with the Cartel and FBI was enough for a character development
Someone said the Byrde's fate is the point of the show, that privilege trumps all in the search for the American dream, and it's always the lesser man (in this case Ruth and her clan) who gets f***ed over.
yeah read that too, makes sense if it was intentional but I doubt it
The accident was some bait s*** to keep people watching lmao. didn't even impact the plotline whatsoever and no one was injured
so many loose ends left untied.
nah, the more I think about this show the less I'm starting to feel good
this was my main gripe. my theory is it was the first thing they wrote for the season and was gonna kill wendy then changed it last minute
All they had to do is have Jonah shoot Wendy at the end
More like jonah getting shot by literally anyone, f*** that little disloyal b****
They really must've used this show as a means to launder d*** money with how they wrapped this s*** up so clumsily after doing so well with S2. This s*** barely even felt like Ozark even with them leaning on resurrecting old characters, using celebs, and Nas and 90s rap being what curated the moods of most episodes of this season throughout. Hella disappointed and feel like if this show was on a better streaming service it would have had more time and money/assurances to create a better product to stand the test of time.
Made the mistake alot of long running shows make. Too many good characters killed off and replaced by other characters of even higher standing to up the stakes to where it gets way too over the top convoluted and unbelievable
Couple that with the constant musical chairs of who's friends or enemies with who and they were running on fumes
this was my main gripe. my theory is it was the first thing they wrote for the season and was gonna kill wendy then changed it last minute
They should've stuck to that. I guarantee it would be way more interesting than what we got
Actually a surprising happy ending?
There's talks off a possible spin off
This one of my fave show series ever
Mel: You guys don't get to win this time
Wendy:
Jonah with the shotty:
Marty:
You know Marty was lowkey proud of him
Ending was okay, Its hard to end a show perfectly. You just hope it all makes sense by the end
Camilla would’ve found sooner or later, so it was always gonna be Ruth or the byrde family
that Chicago detective was stealing cocaine but now wants to be Sherlock Holmes. Now a 15yr old turned you into a pack :laughbozo:
Wendy’s dad deserves a bullet too
If Ruth was bumping I never liked you, she would've survived. All that dust really did a number on her
This the first time I found myself kinda hate watching it
By this point too many musical chair allegiances and plans, friends and foes traded over and over, and the upped stakes made it far too over the top to buy unlike the more grounded early seasons
agreed
the scenarios they created with the cartel/fbi just got kind of ridiculous after a while
there’s a lot of great things about this show but people definitely overrate it trying to mention it with the greatest shows of all time
I was thinking of starting to watch this show. Is it as good as critics are saying?

Yeah it’s dope. Definitely worth watching
