Cops aren’t watching Dustin and Lucas while Max is questioned. Then they all escape under the cops’ noses. Then all the adults just stand there while they bike away.
Portal to the upside down at a crime scene that the cops just write off as mold on the ceiling and never think to check it out even though the body was found right beneath it
Steve + crew arrive in the upside down and kill a bunch of bats and Vecna doesn’t sense that they’re there. A couple scenes later they say “this place is like a hive mind, don’t touch the vines” and then ofc Vecna conveniently is aware of them right as they’re escaping
All of this s*** is incredibly dumb and I feel like there’s more to be mentioned along these lines

I think some scenes are just made for entertainment, like the shoot-out.

I'd have enjoyed it better if half of Hawkins was actually dead or it was more realistic. I don't know maybe I'm the one that misinterpreted and its not a show to be taken so serious but the hype this season got had me thinking it was game of thrones level of seriousness. So when stuff like Murray using karate to beat armed prison guards happens, I was underwhelmed

At the end of the day it's been a kids show from the start. It's not a Rated R show where people are going to be serious and die left and right.
This season has too much humour. I think Murray should be the only funny character, he's just good at it. Yuri and Argyle were too much imo

It’s the same s***. 11 goes missing and then comes in the end to save everyone.
Only cool thing was Kate Bush, but now everyone is playing that 1 song. So it’s annoying as well.

These things definitely took me out of the show (especially the plane crash) but they weren’t enough to ruin my enjoyment.

Not to mention the jarring tonal shifts, i.e. the boys in the pizza van witnessing a man bleeding out to death in their own car and then cracking jokes 5 minutes later
