I think so too. They played it a little safe this season, but I think it's just because they want the last one to be the most impactful.

Steve is one of the most beloved characters, and for that very reason I can easily see them killing him off. The conversation he had with Nancy about their potential future immediately made me think "oh he's a goner".

Exactly killing off Jonathon would be at this stage

Jonathan is such a trash ass character. Steve has had growth and is a fan fav. They'll probably kill of Jon because logically he serves no purpose. He's had no arc for like 2 seasons. Borderline 3. They introduced that random fat stoner nigga for whatever reason to flesh him out.

This show don't got the balls to kill off a main nigga. They introduce these goofy ass nothing characters like Bob, Eddie, that one Russian nigga, whoever and build them up so there's some emotional loss. They just pump faked twice with Hopper and Max.

If any ones dying, it's will or Jon because they don't do s*** and the byers are the emotional anchor of the show since season 1.

In fact that whole Nancy/Jonathan story fell tf off and it's completely through the writers choosing for it to be that way to make space for the Steve conflict. Considering she just started dating Steve in season 1 for like a few weeks this seems a bit goofy, she's basically been f***ing Jonathan way longer.

Cause how y'all gone be talking about college right now, your classmates got sacrificed, her coworker basically, and like y'all's home got nuked. So like no matter what there's no stakes in that plotline.

He had no reason to lie especially since neither of them can really leave now.

Vecna looked goofy as f*** when he got sent flying completely undermined his whole sinister aura.

And honestly they keep mentioning the "end of the world", but the stakes never seem that high. Like, the world is pretty fkn big.

The feeling I get is that a small army could very easily overpower whatever comes out of the breach at Hawkins. The monsters all die pretty easily, and Vecna got pushed around by a bunch of kids.

That Argyle mf and the russian pilot easily some of the most annoying characters in the whole show.

Vecna definitely became a pretty week villain after these two episodes . He was so much more interesting before that

Couldn’t Vecna just kill anyone else aside from Max after realizing she figured out a way to stop him from killing her?

No no one else in the entire town has ever had a traumatic experience only her

Not even any of her friends who have seen people getting devoured and murdered endlessly

also the Robin romance subplot was wasted potential, could have had her love interest involved with the story so that they could have a natural chemistry within the story

Want to slow down on season 4 because it’s so good but I don’t want it to end soon
