i think there's a lot of appetite for a really well done classic ww2 game but cod wwii and bf5 were huge misses for those franchises and there are not many "b-tier" franchises like medal of honour and the like to fill the void

idk, i think after black ops 4 shambles you should be as cynical as possible with the cod franchise. seems like the only things to have gone smoothly since that time are modern warfare and the first few months of warzone
