first listen.... its a good album. a few duds but its pretty similar quality to kamikaze. maybe a little better

Darkness is pretty good

Probably about 2 months ago I brought the cd in the car for a road trip with a friend. It’s an easy album to play all the way through which is one of the things I like about it. I still think it’s in the top tier of Jay albums and there’s really no question that it’s a lot better than Em’s recent output. I think Em did a lot of things right on here but i still want a 10 track album produced by Alchemist with no frills

Gave it 2, appreciated it more the 2nd listen i just think I have my mind set on a certain level from him that I know he’s capable of making so it’s on me getting my expectations too high lol

Lock It Up is one of the best beats on the album but the Paak feature isnt that great and em's flow isnt either. not a bad song but i wish it was better since the beat is so dope

If he has nothing to rap about he just raps about how great of a rapper he is, random slim shady lite shocking lines, or about how people didn't like past albums he's made recently
