Really solid album. Deeper Well is still my favorite, but this will get play from me. Quality music

yeah this one is leaning into the country stuff a little more than Deeper Well IMO but still some standouts...really like Abilene, the song with Billy Strings, and Mexico Honey, and Dry Spell

i thought this was cool def better than the previous two albums but idk why her vocals sound weird

also will say Star Crossed is a rly interesting project

Her producers in general need to just do less. Golden Hour was very punchy and poppy but still had a nice warm lively sound. Nice dynamics

But since then all her stuff sounds super rigid, squashed and over compressed

she needs to team up with Nigel Godrich and make the Sea Change of the 2020s

Ehh.

Just overly produced I think I noticed that with Deeper Well too although I really enjoy that album
