I don’t hate the idea of each quarter being it’s own game. It could be cool to have a game winning shot at the end of each quarter for 100k to charity. It might make it more fun if they’re actually trying before the end of the 4th qtr. the backups could have their own game in the 2nd qtr which would be cool.

I just think the kobe tribute part is lame. It’s too convoluted to work in the number 24 with all these other new rules. And they’re not even resetting it to zero! So it won’t be first to 24 on the scoreboard wins. It’ll be first to 154 wins or something like that.

The 24 vs 8 jersey number idea would have been perfect.
