UnityYeah I think that throw really ruined any trust that Shanahan had in Garoppolo, I don't think he gets an extension or a new contract
I think they're in similar situations. Jimmy has better weapons, but Goff has weapons that are above league average. Both coaches have to work tirelessly to put their QBs in situations where they won't lose them the game. I just think that Garoppolo is slightly better right now because he's better at using his weapons. He gets the ball to Kittle pretty efficiently, he got the ball to Sanders and Deebo last year too. Goff can't get the ball to his weapons unless they're wide open on play actions, and even then he's still incredibly limited
The Rams signed Kupp and Higbee to block because Goff's pocket awareness is so bad and he can't/won't get rid of the ball
