I think the only reason against it is if the first game starts at 7 EST and the 2nd game starts at 9 you have fourth quarter & first quarter overlap

And if you stagger the games then the 2nd game can run until like 12:30-1am

But when I was younger I remember Monday Night Football running late af all the time anyway

Yeah a late run might be f***ed for the team's playing late as well since they're already behind on preparing for the following week

Gotta be a solid solution because Monday double-headers are gonna be an unexpected positive to come out of all of this but the league office probably gonna be lame again

Maybe the alternative would be to sell the first game in a package to someone like Amazon so you’re not as worried about ratings and ad revenue

I’m sure that has its negatives too but you could start the game earlier
