just starting now
what's up with the monsters with white circles in their difficulty icon? i get brown is weak, yellow is stronger and red is strongest but i dont get the little circle icon
I’m honestly not sure what it means myself.
wasn't sure what to think about the battle system at first but i started having fun with it after chapter 4
It’s cool so far but still not nearly as fun as XC2.
trading
affinity
outfits
playing as different main characters EARLY on
not being a waifu simulator
various quality of life options
idk man i think they might have out-did themselves

Battle system in XC1 is admittedly weaker than X or 2 but every other aspect of the game is top tier as f***
Game also hits very different once u figure out how to actually use melia right
Borderlands has gyro aim but not bioshock
Wait what? F***, that was one of the main reasons I wanted to cop

Hopefully they’ll update it. I’ll cop if they do. I guess since a different developer did the borderland ports it’s why it has it.
I see Xenoblade 1 has the same issue of running into enemies strong than you at early portions of the game. It’s not as drastic like running into level 70 when you level 5.
But running into level 10 monsters when you level 4 is gaurenteed death.
Does anyone know how I can access this side quest? I scoured the whole area and I can’t find a single way to get to it. Side note: The side quest system is much better in this game than in XC2.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it!

Nah, this just as bad as XC2.
I ran into level 71 enemies as a level 9
:cmon: Monolith
Why do so many of these side quests give you money instead of experience? I’d rather take experience or a little bit of both.

thats the whole point though. its supposed to be an ecosystem of weaker and stronger creatures just living

But it’s not fun as the player. XC2 was extremely bad because it felt harder to run away from those high level enemies.
It’s not fun trying to train or just get to your next destination when a level 70 enemy locks onto you, chases you down, and kills you in one shot.

From when I played XC2 it was extremely annoying & difficult to evade those high level enemies, like you said.

lmao wtf its called open world realism
even in fantasy sci-fi games we can appreciate that, no?

it was never the case if you played the game properly, it only happened to me when i was silly enough to explore places i dont belong - as most of the high levels in Gormott were passive when u walked by
maybe once or twice if you find yourself exploring too far
at least with Xenoblade DE there are icons to determine if a mob is aggro on sight or sound
Any of yall got the Borderlands port?
Yeah, it runs amazing imo. Just hate the storage space.
