Copped the whole Bioshock Collection. The only one I haven’t played is 2. Can’t wait to run through these as an adult. I’m sure I’ll notice a lot more themes within the story.

I keep getting distracted by the side quests when I told myself I would just run through the game as fast as possible

I’m not very far yet but Sharla is very nice to have in my party right now. I never die anymore because that dedicated healing hits wonderfully.

Played the original game and if you always do all sidequests and explore everything then you become way overleveled. If they added even more exp then s*** would be crazy

I reccommend you to gather first all the sidequest you can for a zone and then do all in one It becomes more quicker

I’ve been doing exactly what you said. I’m only on chapter 4 right now and most quests are still just money based which is sad.

But I’ve knocked out a lot of quests so far. I try to find every single one and complete before I move onto the next area. I have 3-4 active quests right now which I can’t finish until I advance the story but every quest I can finish I do.

I’m going to waste so much time in this game. I’ve already played for 16 hours and I just got Sharla.

This part of the game broke me. I was not ready for that

not getting XP for quests is why i dropped XC2 after the first big area

why would u make me grind in the early game of all times, the combat isnt even great yet im not unlocking things at a god pace yet

you dont need to tell me it gets better and the game is amazing im sure it is, i just dont feel like playing it rn because of this

I didn’t do too many side quests in XC2 but the ones I did do were definitely more meaningful/valuable. The side quests in XC2 often had story attached to them. XC1 just gives you a billion side quests with no real story/narrative. They are also way easier because of how many there are.

I remember the few XC2 side quests I did giving me EXP but I could be forgetting.

For the quests maybe they changed it because in the original they just gave you way too much exp
