started playing xenoblade x after which i'll probably get back to once i'm done with p4g. the game's vibe is so different

BotW2 is my most anticipated game, but I'm personally not expecting it to come this year. I'm thinking 2021 which will be the 35th anniversary for The Legend of Zelda franchise. This year is the 35th anniversary for Mario, so we'll probably get those rumored Mario remasters/remakes this year and then BotW2 in 2021.

as far as i'm concerned the longer they spend on botw2 the better. knowing they are recycling the same engine means all the time they are spending on development is based on content and refinement

I bought a Switch at launch to play Zelda BotW. Crazy that I'm about to get a BotW sequel on top of that. Nintendo please show me more of the sequel asap.

I mean when they showed it off over a year ago it seemed like a lot of work had already been done. You don’t make cutscenes of a game first lol... they must’ve spent a lot of time making levels, mechanics and designing the story of the game before they worked on cutscenes. Those were quality, finished cutscenes in that trailer.
