Does anyone else feel weird when you play games where the main character can’t jump? Even if you don’t need it for the core gameplay I still feel weird when a character can’t jump lol

starting another ng
idk why

this Dark Souls right ? Feels bad I got stuck on boss and haven’t finished the game. I know I’m close to the end though.

Little tip you can use the L + R buttons for the flashlight action and such. It makes it more comfortable to control (at least for me) or just use the face buttons if you prefer.

bro i put 500+ dsr
which boss is it?
homestly, it falls off in quality towards the end
it has amazing replayability to me since mosttly everything connects and the design is so great
then you head to the pvp spots and duke it out in anor londo or oolacile

Yea I've seen that same sentiment about it sorta of falling off. I had fun with it but that boss was messing me up cuz of all the skull dudes messing me up. Plus he has that weird ass ground move where he spikes you from afar. (Gravelord Nito) Someone a few weeks ago did give me a tip to use a divine weapon on them so they'd stay permanently dead. I just haven't gone back to it. I will though!
I never played the PVP in Darks Sou or Bloodbornel tbh I just liked playing through the story.

yea pvp in ds is pretty broken so its skippable forsure
if u beat 4kings, you're pretty much in there
honestly, if you want to go back to ds, you can just leave nito and head to the artorias DLC
it will suck you back in, no doubt
artiorias boss fight is top tier

Tbh i didn't know where else to progress and I thought he's one of the main bosses I have to beat for the end? His area was on of the blocked areas before I got to that big titty lady.

if you're at nito that means you went the new londo and beat the 4kings
cause you need to beat 4kings in order to unlock multiple endgame routes
each boss in each route is a lord soul
you need like 4-5 souls to deposit in order to unlock the final boss
you're at nito
so i would drop him cause hes wack as s***
head over to tutorial island all the way to where you first first spawn at the very beginning
pick up *precious doll
head over to darkroot basin (after andre smith, before the path to the garden place i forgot the name)
anyway, slay the hydra serpent
head all the way to the left of the lake
there should be a golem
after you kill the golem, a princess spawns
after you accept her quest
head over to the duke's archive
its the blocked off path on the left of the elevator for the bridge to anor londo
pass the minotaurs in the hallway
use the elevator
there will be a golem there
he drops a broken pendant
take it
go back to where you freed the princess there will be a void
it sounds like a lot but its not :p
also, the spells are pretty fun. i didnt get into the magic on my first playthru cause it seemed a little complicated
but you have slots for spells
you need a mage staff for mage spells
a cloth thingy for faith spells
and the appropriate int for mage
appropriate faith lvl for faith
the more attunement level, the more slots u get
so anyway
dark beed is pretty sick and it only requires 16 int and is found after artorias if ur into that (:

this game can be really obtuse at times. It's sometimes really hard to know what to do next. And omg I never even got to New Londo. Like I know where it is but I never progressed or explored much of the area yet I never beat the 4 Kings yet lolol.
The hydra was just f***ing me up so I never killed that either.
Also I was mad as hell cuz I didn't kill the dumb ass golden knight when I had the chance so he killed my firekeeper at Firelink shrine
Is there a reason I have to answer E Gadd’s calls? He calls way too often, I’m getting annoyed.

he's really annoying in the beginning to be honest. it's more during the first few 2 or so hours because it's the tutorial stage still. He doesn't call as much later on.

Dope, that’s good to hear he leaves me alone more later! I played LM1 so I know what I’m doing and want him to stop interrupting me lol

you can turn off the hints in the settings but i was worried that if i did he'd actually say something I needed to know. Maybe I'll turn them off and see how I do.

oh my god yeah you can kill lautrec early in the game. he drops one of the best rings in the game
but you dont get that epic anime fight in anor londo if you cheese him lol
yeah honestly thats why i replayed it so many times because you dont get all the content it offers on the first playthru. not even the third tbh
but once you get more familiar with the world, you get hooked because you can play the game in almost any order of ways. you can go so many routes in the beginning and straight cheese
or try out different builds like spell hybrids
or you can straight up go lvl 999
i played ds3 and thats way more streamlined so when i came back around for dsr, the mechanics were soooo slow and a bit janky but i lived in that b**** eventually
i dropped at new londo cause you cant even hit the f***ing ghosts
anyways, i dropped it a couple times too. but theres a big chance it'll click
or not
cause everybody d***rides the game so its hard to appreciate it sometimes
im a sucker for japanese western middle ages s*** tho
dragons dogma is my absolute s***
so is berserk

Yea I never feel bad about missing content on a first run of a game. Especially this one since there is so much content. The spells and stuff did not make sense me at all. Didn't know how to get my pyromancy going or anything. Maybe it's also the build I chose (i forget which I chose)
I beat and played Bloodborne like twice now but that is more linear in a sense so that's probably why.
I don't mind the jank either because I can always keep in mind the age of a game. It's not broken or anything just a little less smooth than newer games obviously.
But I will get back to it I just gotta be in a mood. I did drop bloodborne too for a few months cuz I got stuck at the beginning, went back and it's now one of my favourite games. So. It'sjust a matter of time.
I do want to beat it at least once just to see the end.

just remember
3 types of magic
int mage
• scales off intelligence level
• need a wand
• theres a questline to unlock the good spells with big hat logan
faith
• scales off faith
• need a cloth(i forgot the name)
• theres a covenant/questline to unlock spells with solaire. also some other dude
pyro
• no level incease needed
• need a fire hand thingy(forgot the name)
• find pyro dude on the way to the sewers before blighttown
• upgrade by talking to the spell seller in firelink once u find him
• also at the bottom of blighttown once u upgrade ur fire hand to +5
f***, that reminds me how convoluted the weapon upgrading is because you need to find an ember for +5 weapon level +10 wp lv & +15 wp lv
not to mention there are different types of enchants for each element that requires embers for their path
at first i didnt know whay thay was for. but its basically for ppl putting stats in other things beside str or dex, so an elemental will compensate for the lack of scaling from that
i didnt know this at first so i would go raw and have s***ty dmg output
i was tryna keep this short. anyways im gonna shut the f*** up now about this
and yea elden ring game of the decade
altho, if you think about the progress of games from 2010 to now, its pretty great
even tho im still gushing over a 2011 game. & ppl still d***ride last of us from 2013 or sum

My top 10 games ever all pre-date 2012 except The Last Of Us and Mario Kart 8.
Newer doesn’t mean better.
