Beat Super Metroid today for the first time in a while. I love this game. It’s fun coming back to it, because now I can use tech and glitches from speed-runners that I didn’t know about as a kid.

There’s a glitch that lets you restart the game with all your items, energy tanks, and upgrades

Still can't believe that the wii u got a virtual console with all of the classics like paper mario, ocarina of time, majoras mask, etc. & we're in the fourth year of the switch era with a lousy nes and snes online service

I got it on my Wii Virtual Console back in high school, knowing it was this celebrated masterpiece, but I couldnt really get into it. There were spots where for the life of me I couldnt figure out what do do, but I was a lot younger then so maybe I should restart it now that I can actually think and notice context clues
