Remember when they sold gamecubes bundled with Zelda: collectors edition which had zelda 1,2,ocarina of time, majoras mask
They gotta do that s*** with the newer titles
Ooooooo I had forgotten about that Zelda collection. I got it when I bought the GameCube way back. My first time playing Majora’s Mask was through that collection. I don’t remember what games were on it besides OoT and MM though.
All the way out
Nintendo probably gonna make us buy wii more plus and an adaptor to make it work on the Switch just to play the game
Skyward Sword without Motion controls isn't Skyward Sword
Imagine not wanting to control a sword with your hand. I remember when BotW was announced and they said it was going to have traditional controls. I was pretty bummed because Skyward Sword, in my opinion, had great motion controls and controlling Link's sword/weapons with the Wii remote and Nunchuks was super fun and intuitive.
Motion controls are bad in 90% of games
Bruh skyward sword... bruh where the f*** is windwaker HD
On the WiiU

Motion controls have been lit in pretty much all first-party Nintendo games that I’ve played. Mario Galaxy/Mario Odyssey, Skyward Sword, not to mention SPLATOON (!!), ARMS, Zelda BotW for aiming your reticle when using bows for example.

Arms is the only game where I use motion controls other than the rare times I whip out Sports Champions on the PlayStation move.
And Arms is objectively worse with motion controls if you are trying to win.
This is actually in accordance to the rumors. A lesser showcase in August, followed by a bigger one later in August or early September. So the real juice should be coming soon. Also, Indie Showcase is way more interesting than that heathen Partner Showcase in July.

Partner showcase had smt III and V
But there were rumors talking about an indie direct followed by a general direct so maybe tomorrows indie showcase is confirmation
Cool, cool
Now give us a proper direct
Hopefully this indicates that its coming soon
Partner showcase had smt III and V
Happy for the SMT fans but that was it
There was no need for that nasty Partner Showcase just to announce SMT

Its a game announced with the switch in 2017 and without any news for 3 years until that partner showcase. It was a good and needed announcement and it came out of nowhere considering there was no hype for a partner showcase
Partner showcase was better than nothing especially for what was announced and if tomorrows showcase shows hollow knight and nmh 3 then ill also be happy with that one
Cool, cool

Indie this week, main Direct next week ALLEGEDLY.
Referring to his discussion with Jeff Grubb from Venturebeat 5 days ago below:

I understand that SMT fans wanted news on SMT after 3 years of nothing. I'm happy for you bro
But that don't mean the Partner Showcase was the right way to do it
The Partner Showcase in July was one of the worst things Nintendo ever did. It put a stain on the name "Direct".
We been in the dark for so long without a proper Direct, and they gave us that Partner Showcase which consisted of small/trash titles (besides SMT) that could've just been announced on Twitter, just like they have been doing over the past few months.
It was less than 10 minutes long and ended before it began.
indies again ?
Wake up brodie this Indie is just a crack in the wall before the breakthrough. Direct next week allegedly from the same places that predicted this Indie showcase.

I see where you coming from i was also heated when rumors of a big direct on that day turned out to be bs
It probably would've gotten a different reaction if there werent rumors about something bigger than it was imo
