Which (if true) is pretty unusual and tells me it might not be a regular Direct. Usually the general Direct's happen on a Thursday. Perhaps it's just a smaller thing focused on Mario's 35th anniversary. Announce the collection, a Mario sale and perhaps merchandise, and then save the other big titles for a September Direct. We'll see though, I definitely want it to be a general Direct. Some leakers suggest it is, some say they aren't sure.
