I have the satisfye grip for OG, I cannot play in handheld mode without it. It’s a game changer especially for lite. When you get that you’ll be good.

It’s because they ruined the actual “you get hit, you lose a ballon, you loose all balloons, you die” formula. That formula will never be topped and battle mode will always be worse until it comes back.

Ok, but when you lose all balloons you lose half your points which is still a punishment. Also that's not enough of a reason to prefer 2 well executed modes over 5 well executed modes, with one of them (renegade roundup) being top tier and exclusive to mario kart 8 deluxe

Oh yeah I can’t emphasize enough how much it helps with ergonomics. So much it’s going to feel like you bought the Switch all over again. The Satisfye grip is the best third party accessory for the Switch by far.

That’s the only thing with lite, it’s harder to play competitive games because you need a traditional controller.
