  • honestly you could apply the post title to any number of artists and its still true. I dont quite know what i was getting at myself originally, there is just SOMETHING about rihanna songs that sets her apart, but that can be true for others too

    there are many who kept going and people who came in after her yet all of her songs still stand out and at least for me, there is still something there that i still want an R9 after all this time

    again, this was never a comparison for me or putting her up against another, just a late night thought after a string of Riri songs mixed in my big R&B list

    I still feel like it's pretty understated just how prolific of a run she had hits wise in the span of like 10-12 years.

    If she had kept going for even just a few more years, she would undoubtedly be the biggest popstar of her generation.

    You can still argue in some facets that she is IMO
