    I think a recession is coming with ~18 months more or less and i sold some high risk investments (btc, etc) a few months ago in preparation for that. I’m really steeped in tech and i think unfortunately entry level workers are gonna get phased out in digital industries in the next 5 years. I hope I’m wrong but I’m expecting myself to be expendable

    The only people who will survive are the developers who learn how to further develop and optimize these systems. The days of building an app and getting paid is over.

    Computer science is becoming extremely competitive skill wise now. It’s more about developing the best algorithms and optimization of data structures more so than building “projects”. Because the AI has taken over the practical building. That’s my viewpoint from the outside in.

    The field is slowly distilling into a hyper competitive hard science like physics basically.
