Not really.

There’s like two or three laugh moments, but not anything big.

Dafoe has a few funny lines, but overall no this is a pretty grim and serious film

There were a couple chuckles depending on your sense of humor but no not really

Dafoe brought the perfect touch of lightness. It was like Eggers was painting with his cast, they all work so good together.

This might be the type of movie where the EXPERIENCE of watching it has you 100% enraptured and under its spell, but then you don’t think about it at all afterwards.

Loved this a lot, best movie I’ve seen in a while

Really felt like you were there in that period with them

It was alright bro. Eggers is great at what he does, but these type of stories just don’t interest me that much but I understand why people love it.
