Great all it took was s***ty fan service to make the prequel stans act like this is actually worth watching

I am stunned that all it took was one flashback scene to get people calling this a "good episode"

I liked seeing Hayden as much as the next guy but we also had "Vader randomly being merciful and sparing Reva's life because surely that won't come back to bite him in the ass" and "journeyman electrician Leia" this episode like what show are we watching

I liked it and people are gonna like it.

But I feel like people are also gonna act like 1-4 were retroactively good because they finally got something nostalgic and shiny to look at it. S*** is still really rough and in this episode lots of those issues are still there

But the fact they made an Obi Wan show and didn’t bring their A game in terms of writing and directing is the kind of chaos that we really just have to soak up and enjoy. Disney are reckless

It explains the "When I left you I was but the learner, now I, am the master"

but at the same time, what they gonna do for Ep.6

It would make sense if this was the last time Vader see's Obi-Wan till ANH,

but I reckon they gonna meet again in the finale and fight?

it's not that weird at all, either the flashback is right after Ep2, or he went into a Bacta tank and looked younger for Ep2.
Why is it so hard for SW fans to just enjoy things

JUST ENJOY THE DAMN CONTENT

The 1st episode and this last one were good, but episode 2,3 and 4 were so bad that I still think this whole series will turn out to be a let down and a massive opportunity missed

Tbh I’ve enjoyed this show a fair amount . It’s not anything special but honestly the only exceptions I had following its production announcement was Obi wan being on Tatooine n this show is more than that
I think so far it’s 4/5 on these episodes and just needs a strong finale to top it all off

It's like 85-90% amazing with 10-15% horrible scenes and writing and lines and CGI and plot motivation thrown in

Overall I thought it was great but there were still undoubtedly bad moments and decision, like all the other eps

Electrician Leia, Reva letting Obi out of her sight in the care of some storm troopers before Vader’s arrival???? Things like that

But the story-telling with the flashbacks tying into their current day predicament was awesome. Ep was great because it 90% relied on Ewan and Hayden, which IMO should always be the overwhelming majority of the focus

they needed leia to do something smart lol but reva let obi escape so she could face vader… even though she literally said he will see it coming

why is she alive though she gonna really end up in tatooine to try and kill luke for revenge against vader and obi wan

I mean, don't ask insatiably for content and more content and then when you do, nitpick it to death

we finally got a Prequel flashback of Hayden, now you focusing on how it doesn't look like it was filmed in 2002.
we finally got him during order 66, i've already seen "fans" say "well that was cool and all but what I really wanted was him murking other Jedi, not just the young-lings

This is why Kathleen Kennedy will stay in place until she dies. Star Wars fans are so easy to win over (as long as it’s fanservice)
